Creating my Digipak back cover

From the research we carried out, I am aware that the back of the case must include the tracklist, image of the artist, barcode and fit in with the theme of the case. The image we used is of myself 'Nina Rae', which was one of the image we took from the green screen. It is a side on image of our artist and using Photoshop we erased the background and smoothed the edges of our artist. We then added the effect 'Colour Burn' to create the red, burning effect over our artist. We felt this was effective on the back cover as it focused more on the track list rather than the artist herself which is what we wanted.

Above was the image we used prior to erasing the background and adding the effect. We liked the image as we felt it was professional and detailed. It also showed the main focus of the flower in the hair so we felt this was most suitable for our back cover.

Here is our final draft of our digipak back cover, we continued to use the font 'Hotel De Paris' to create a theme throughout a digipak and to make our audience recognise and associate the font with our artist 'Nina Rae'. The colour burn worked effectively too as it followed the red colour theme of our music video and digipak.
