Logo Design Ideas

This was our first design which we created. We liked this design as it gave a clear definition of the music and techno/house genre we are pursuing however, we felt that the font was bland and that something more simple could be more effective. After reviewing this feedback, we decided that this wasn't the best and most suitable logo we could use for our institution company. We created this logo on Microsoft paint and found the images of the levels on google with ambition to create our own design on photoshop.

Our second design idea was this one, we felt this one was effective as it had the theme of colour which relates to pop/house music so we felt that linked nicely to our genre and theme. It stood out as a logo with the sound level design we thought that it fitted our DJ type artist effectively. However, when we analysed the synergy between our products and Digipaks we felt that this logo didn't fit quite as well as we thought. Due to this we decided to create another logo and not use this one. Similar to our first logo design we created this logo on Microsoft paint it took us longer than the first one as we had to manually create the levels.

This was the third logo design we created. We gained the image from the internet (google) and if we would've chose to use this as our final logo design we planned to create the image on photoshop.  This was our favourite logo design out of the three because we felt that the image of the women's hair flowing related to our idea of a female DJ artist. This also combined with the idea of a female DJ being rarer than male DJ so we thought it created a nice link between our artist and our institution company. However, after researching into other similar institution companies we felt that this logo was quite messy and not as unique as we wanted it to be. We thought that the font wasn't rememberable so after much analysing we decided to create a fourth logo.

This was our final logo design which we created for our production company. We made this logo from scratch using photoshop. We liked this logo as it was completely unique being made from scratch. We also thought it was different to our initial designs as it didn't give off any implications of themes giving it a wider variation for our audience. We used an image of a fuse flowing through the font and the cut out between the S and O gave the idea of electrocution between the font. This was our favourite design as we felt it was unique and fitted perfectly with our genre and artist design. We plan to use this one for our final logo design for our production institution.
