Make-Up Update

As we are on holiday in most of our footage, our actress either has none or minimal amounts of make-up on portraying a very natural, boho, vintage look which is what we wanted our artist to be like. We wanted our artist to be careless and free and be able to clearly demonstrate that in our music video we we believe she does. 

We believe that the natural make-up look follows the codes and conventions of a pop music video but would be more towards the house music genre as that is where the more edgy and natural character would lay as the pop genre can sometimes portray heavy, extravagant make-up looks to stand out and be bold. For example, Little Mix wear excessive amounts of bright make-up to portray their theme and look of their music. Whereas, Ella Eyre wears less make-up and demonstrates a more natural, easy going look which is the theme we are going for with our artist.
